Q: I am having issue with disabling the timestamp on recorded video with the NVS-40
A1: In the web interface of the NVS-40, there is a CG tab. The time stamp coming from there.
Be sure to Click Stop CG, and perform a test recording. The Time stamp should be gone.
A2: work-around for the timestamp – It is coming from the CG page, you have to disable it on every channel and save that change.
One notable thing on the web UI – if you make a change and do not see the off-screen "apply" button at the bottom and navigate to another page (e.g. another channel), any changes are ignored. No warning or message
