RMC-260 Serial Cable Information
(For SE-1200MU)

The SE-1200MU and RMC-260 utilize a 9-pin "crossover" cable also known as a Null Modem cable (without handshaking).

• Pins 2, 3, and 5 are needed.
• Pins 2 and 3 are crossed on the 9 pin serial cable.
• Connector genders are male to male.

If you misplaced your original RMC-260 cable, you can purchase a replacement from your local Datavideo re-seller.  

Straight through serial cables are more commonly available but will not work unless a female to male "Null Modem" adapter is added to one end to change the pin configuration.
